2024 Fall Swim Clinic

Tuesdays and Wednesdays

August 27 to September 25

Classes Meet at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club (not the lesson pool)

3:45 start time - the length of time children swim will depend upon age and level

To better help us divide the children, please arrive at the pool and be ready to swim at 3:45.

We will meet the children out of the water and divide the children into appropriate levels on a daily basis. Children will be divided into levels based upon skill level and not necessarily by age.

This class is intended to enable children to refine their swimming skills and build endurance and is not necessarily aimed at teaching children how to swim.  Children should be able to swim on both their fronts and backs independently to have success at the stroke clinic.

Level 1 –  

This class is intended for children ages 5 and under that can swim on their front and backs and will focus on the fundamentals of swimming.  The instructor will be in the water with the children. Children will swim about 30 minutes

Level 2 – 

This class is intended for children 6 to 8 and will focus on stroke development and preparing for a swim team.  Children should be able to swim 25 meters and comfortable with swimming in deep water. Children will swim about 45 minutes

Level 3 –  

This class is intended for children 9 and over with prior swim team experience and will focus on refining strokes and endurance.  Children will swim about 1 hour

For children that are not ready for the stroke clinic, but want to keep swimming we will offer a Pre-stroke clinic Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:00.  The class will be held at the Lomas Santa Fe Country club and the water temperature is 81 degrees.  Please call or email for more details.

$20 Members for Session

$25 Non-members for Session

Payment of cash or check will be required each time.

Unfortunately, we will no longer allow people to pay at the end of the series.
