3:45 start time - the length of time children swim will depend upon age and level

The stroke clinic is intended for children who are able to swim on their fronts and backs, need to practice their swimming skills, and work on endurance.  Children attending the stroke clinic should arrive at the pool by 3:45, ready to swim. Our aim is to ensure children are placed in the most appropriate level; children are grouped each lesson and levels are subject to change based on attendance.

Level 1 –   (ages 5 and under)

This class is intended for children who can swim on their front and backs and will focus on the fundamentals of swimming.  The instructor will be in the water with the children. Children will swim about 30 minutes

Level 2 – (ages 6 to 8)

This class will focus on stroke development and preparing for a swim team.  Children should be able to swim 25 meters and comfortable with swimming in deep water. Children will swim about 45 minutes

Level 3 –  (ages 9 and above or Swim Team level 2 or 3)

This class is intended for children with prior swim team experience and will focus on refining competitive swim strokes and endurance.  Children will swim about 1 hour
